SL Treadmill Details

The Weslo SL treadmill is a 2009 model and has been introduced to offer a good quality treadmill at a lower price. With a 1.75 CHP motor, and a top speed of 16km/h (10mph) the specification is higher than similar priced running machines. There are three positions (1.5 - 4.5 - 7%) of incline that can be adjusted manually to increase the difficulty level. The Weslo SL provides 4 pre-programmed programs that automatically adjust the speed to give you a great workout. The foldable design makes it ideal for storing away when it is not in use.

Treadmill Motor and Speed

The Weslo SL has a larger motor than other motorised treadmills at around the same price. This means it is likely to be more durable and able to offer the user 16km/h instead of 14km/h. We recommend that when selecting a treadmill you don't pick one below 1.25CHP unless you intend to use it for walking and very light use. At 1.75CHP this running machine is able to handle a maximum user weight of 120kg or 18.8 stones. The top speed of 16km/h is equivilant to a fast run. Most users would tend to jogg at 9-11 km/h so there's certainly plenty of scope to increase your fitness level.

Incline / Gradient Adjustment

Other than the speed, the gradient of the running deck determines how difficult your workout will be. Not everyone likes to run on a treadmill so the gradient option provides those people who like walking with a challenging uphill workout. The more serious runners can also use the incline feature to increase the intentsity of their exercise. The gradient level is adjusted at the rear of the treadmill when it is not in use. If you would like the facility to adjust the incline while you are on the running machine then you need power or motorised incline found on the Proform 3.6 and the Weslo XL. Both priced between £400-£500

Warranty:

Standard warranty is 12 months parts and labour which is extended to 24 months once the warranty card and proof of purchase is completed and returned to manufacturer to validate warranty
